We received free room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise, as this cruise was part of our honeymoon. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful in every way, especially Ha and Tam, girls who were both genuinely interested in how we were enjoying ourselves, where we came from etc. The room was clean, food was great. We really have nothing to complain about.

Departing from Tuan Chau Marina, Peony Cruises designs jam-packed itineraries while cruising along the Ha Long - Lan Ha Bay. The cruise ship staff was top notch. The room was amazing. Good food and excellent service. Halong bay itself, though the islands were truly beautiful, had a lot of trash in the water, but that has nothing to do with our experience on the cruise.

As a solo traveler, I was a little nervous about joining a cruise, but Calista made me feel completely at home. The ship is beautiful – brand new with elegant decor and open spaces that invite you to relax. I loved having a glass of wine on the deck while watching the sunset over the bay. It was peaceful and awe-inspiring. The staff treated everyone like family – shoutout to Trang for making sure I had everything I needed. The food was incredible, especially the lemongrass grilled shrimp and mango sticky rice. I also joined the cooking class and met some great people. It was a serene and enriching experience – highly recommend to fellow solo travelers!
