We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Demaj. The breakfast was fabulous, with fresh and varied options. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Berat’s historic center, making it easy to explore the town. But without a doubt, the best part was the hospitality and generosity of the owners, especially their son, who was absolutely amazing – always ready to help, guiding us throughout our stay, and with an impressive level of English. We really felt at home. Highly recommended!

OMG! Amazing breakfast. We stayed at 7 different places this trip and we think this was the best breakfast provided, beating out 5 star hotels. The location is fantastic overlooking the Gorica neighbourhood and an easy walk to Berat Castle. It is rustic and may not be everyone’s taste or style but we loved it!

The breakfast was very nice, with a beautiful view. Staff were helpful and kind. Good location. A 15 minute walk uphill to the castle and a 10 minute walk down to where the coffee places and bars were located.

The hosts were absolutely beautiful. They immediately made you feel like a part of their family, so welcoming and kind. They are a wonderful family and you will feel very safe and at home with them. Great stay, room was completely new . Host was very kind and helpful . Apartment is in 15 minutes walk from city center , with very quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend this stay .

Ada is an amazing host and her hotel is not only beautiful but perfectly located in Berat. The view from the terrace, where we also had a delicious breakfast (and good and strong coffee), is absolutely stunning! The room was nice and clean with a modern interior.
