Mary and her family were the kindest and most welcoming hosts we could wish for. Right upon our arrival they offered us tea and refreshments and gave us various tips on what to see in the area.Their homemade dinners and breakfasts (served at a terrace with wonderful views) are huge and simply delicious, absolutely perfect after a whole day spent in the mountains around Haghpat. The room itself is very light and spacious, located in a house in the middle of a rural vegetable garden a few hundred meters from the monastery. In spite of our very poor knowledge of Russian, Mary's parents were always very friendly and open to talk with and fully accommodated all our wishes. We'll be very happy to come again if ever back in Armenia. Thank you! <3

Hotel is located at the central street of Haghpat not too far from Monastery complex and stunning views to the mountains. Amazing place to stay. The guesthouse is next to the family home of the hosts. The family is very welcoming, friendly and open to give advice on what to do in the area. English is not a problem. They brought fresh and tasty breakfast to us every morning and there is an optional cooked dinner. Comfy beds, kitchen and seating area. The Migoyan museum and Sanahin monastery are next door and the start to some wonderful hikes are nearby. There is a small shop next door. You can also watch the piglets in the neighbour's barn while drinking your morning coffee.

Perfect location in a historical house just next to the Sanahin Monastery. The hosts are a very friendly family and they make sure their guests feel comfortable and happy. They helped me to arrange taxis to all the monasteries located in the vicinity. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced.

What an experience we had at Guesthouse VL! We found our own little paradise in the middle of nature. This September, we were hiking the TCT (Transcaucausian Trail) and we booked our night in Akori. When we arrived, Aren and his wive were waiting for us. They made us tea, coffee accompagnied with cookies and fresh fruits. It was so nice! The dinner and breakfast that we asked for were served with fresh ingredients and with a warm heart. It was the best Armenian food. The rooms were spacious and clean. If you want a good Armenian experience, please go there.
