Everything was perfect at The Castle at Bonville, a true European gem outside of Europe. This charming brick building sits atop a hill, surrounded by a lush garden filled with fruit trees. Shan and Donald are exceptional hosts. Despite my late arrival, they welcomed me with a freshly baked homemade chocolate cake and a comforting cup of chamomile tea. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean and spacious, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a real highlight—a generous spring onion omelette made with eggs from their own chickens, paired with a fresh salad. I also received great recommendations for must-visit spots along the nearby coast, which turned out to be absolutely worth the trip. A flawless experience—10/10!

We were travelling from Brisbane to Sydney and stayed here for a night, it suited our needs perfectly: very neat, cute, spotless clean! Very lovely neighbourhood and close to Coffs Harbour (if you are travelling by car off) which is also a beautiful city to enjoy.

Very friendly host. Very good value for money. Very good breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, close to the city center and within walking distance of many attractions. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.
