Had Adirondak chairs in front of room and very nice waterfront. Kayaks available and swimming area on Lake Megantic. Beautiful views and sunset. Fun hiking in the area with Scotch Cap, nearby with fantastic views of the area. The old granite quarry is fun to visit with again beautiful views of the mountains and valleys in the area. Very quaint. Loved the pool by the lake, outdoor seating areas, dock and outdoor games to play. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and conveniently located. Loved coffee in the morning on the dock! Love how pretty much the entire Lac Mègantic area supports the dark-sky movement, which is protective of the night sky as a resource and reduces light pollution. We arrived to find a crackling fire playing on the TV. The room was well equipped with coffee machine, fridge, toaster oven, heater/cooler, overhead fan and TV. The bed was comfortable.
