The views are spectacular from the balcony. The building is like staying in a part of history, very quirky and colourful. Breakfast was great.

I liked everything about El Caminante. Martha and Alfredo are such lovely, friendly and welcoming people. They’re also really helpful when it comes to organising hiking and trail logistics in the National Park (they’re both guides too). The hostel is really clean, it’s quiet at night, there hot water for showers and the whole place has a relaxed atmosphere, with amazing views from the hammocks on the balcony. There are lots of places to chill and the kitchen is well equipped. I ended up staying 6 days and never wanted to leave - felt completely at home. 100% recommend.

Maria is a wonderful host and the hostel is very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Its position near the top of the town, offers very good views from the front patio.The bedroom was very spacious and bed very comfortable.
