We had most likely the nicest bungalow, can’t imagine there is a better one 😉. Used the outdoor kitchen one night and ate on the terrace, surrounded by the park & woods. Hummingbirds 5 meters away & tucans in the trees, amazing. Nice breakfast at the main house with really good homemade bread. Did a nice 30 min. hike on the property trail starting from the bungalow.

Loved the location, the "zen" vibe, the beautiful gardens, the attention to detail paid to the amenities in the individual villas, the fire that was lit for breakfast in the morning on the gorgeous outdoor covered eating space, the delicious and healthy breakfasts, the extraordinary wildlife that was so abundant and made it difficult for me to focus on eating my breakfast lol, the walking path surrounding the property, the approachability of the owners, the friendliness of their staff, their obvious love and appreciation for nature, their surroundings, their community and CR. Proximity to Bijigua and Rio Celeste is perfect.

We absolutely loved our 5 night stay with Lusbeth, Alfredo, and family in the rustic cabins surrounded by their beautiful gardens. A generous, delicious, homemade breakfast was included. There was even home made passionfruit jam and fresh juice from their own fruits. There were many colourful birds, including toucans. They gave us a free night tour of their garden to see the frogs and other critters. They helped us organize activities and were genuinely kind. Our cabin was clean and comfortable with enough beds for 5 people. The kitchenette was a welcome addition so we could cook our own meals. I recommend supporting this local family by staying with them when you visit the Bijagua area and Volcanoes Tenorio and Miravalles. A wonderful accommodation with lovely owners. Everything was wonderful, more than just great typical breakfast made with love, parking in front of our room, warm shower after a jungle night tour at tapir valley 3km next to this place. Definatly recommandation!

The most amazing thing was the view in the evening and by day!!! The host was a super amazing dude, he checked on us if everything was okay. And he was so enthousiast. He told us everything what we could do in this region and around the property. He even lead us to a hike trial that not many people know of. It was an absolutly amazing stay! If you are in Costa Rica, you have to spent a night at this house, and probably 2!!
