A slice of paradise. Very tidy and clean. Well maintained garden with some wildlife even. Breakfast was plenty and very tasty. Coffee all day for free. Nice little pool. A+ for the family who owns the accommodation and hosted us. Rarely felt so welcomed somewhere else. Comfy bed. Almost luxurious bathroom with warm water hair dryer. Everything perfect.

This was one of our multiple stays in Costa Rica, and we were truly impressed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Above all, the Refugio concept — which includes a beautiful café and a cozy bar offering excellent food and drinks — truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.

Great hosts, welcoming and friendly. Room was very comfortable and right by the pool which was great to have. Lovely breakfast each morning. Great setting and very tranquil. Close to Tammarindo and other beaches where you can surf.

Everything was amazing, flavio is such a good host which really makes you feel home. The breakfast is very nice. The rooms are great, especially the shower and the huge bed. Great place to stay and enjoy the amazing view!

We were here to work so did not spend much time at the hotel. The communication leading up to the stay was excellent. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast is simple but good. eggs, pineapple or yogurt with granola. They also offered orange juice or coffee. The room was clean and the ac worked. It was quiet at night.
