The owners were doing their best to make us feel at home, and made a place to rest after intensive day of sightseeing. We stayed 4 fantastic days at Hostalio. The staff, like Mustafa, Abdullah, Juba, and all the other guys, treated us like family members. They called us taxis anytime we asked; they were ready to help promptly. We travelled at the time of Eid-al-Adha and decided to celebrate with them. Abdullah offered to show us their praying place; he bought us their traditional sugarcane drink, took us to a place where a lot of Muslims prayed together at the same time, and then we went to see the place where people slaughtered sheep, goats, and lambs. He even offered me his own traditional Muslim dress that I was more than happy to wear. On the afternoon Abdullah knocked on our door and invited us for dinner of their traditional food, which was so delicious. We had great long talks with Mustafa (archaeologist) on the terrace almost every night, and he was more than willing to share their culture and all his knowledge about the pyramids. The breakfast was delicious and huge! So all in all, everything was fantastic!

Brilliant place to stay. 2mins from entrance to Gizza pyramids. Fantastic genuine hosts, really chilled. Would recommend, if you want an authentic experience. Views from both rooftop terraces are amazing.
