We really enjoyed our stay with Nadia, and even if the accommodation is a little out of the way, you can get to Sakkara relatively quickly by taxi and also a little further to the very worthwhile Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid. Every time you come back from an excursion, you have the feeling of returning to an oasis of calm. Everything is beautifully and lovingly laid out, Nadia is a great hostess and the food is delicious and the breakfast plentiful. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!

This is an authentic Egyptian stay, with five star hospitality! It was perfect for exploring Saqqara and Darshur and Mohammed and his family do everything to make us happy, welcome and comfortable. Our guide Abdu has been very helpful and great company and everything is at a very reasonable price. The view of the desert and pyramids from the roof is stunning. And we loved the little cats, welcome fire in the garden and constant supply of tea! I look forward to coming again next time I'm in Egypt. The Egyptian breakfast they made for us is probably the best we had in Egypt, and we also went to the village for fresh cheese, fresh buffalo milk and fruits. Highly recommended!

The stay here was one of my highlights of the trip. I was welcomed to Egypt by a thoughtful driver, Mahmoud. He drove so carefully and even bought me snacks on the way as I arrived quite late and was super hungry. I got a free welcome dinner by the staff as well, which i highly appreciate. I got an upgrade to the room with balcony and it was absolutely amazing. The view was beautiful. The rooftop has a better view where u can sit and enjoy your meals prepared by the hotel. What I liked most about this hotel is their superb hospitality. You get a free airport transfer if u book over 2 nights, a welcome drink, a welcome dinner, free breakfasts, and the price per day is affordable. The staff here were the best. Everyone was always attentive to my needs and made me feel like home. Mohamed always asked me when I would like to have breakfast so he could prepare. Even on days when I had to get up early for tours, he still prepared breakfast for me earlier than the time stated at the hotel. Basant and Nader were always available whenever I had any questions on WhatsApp. Another driver, Mostafa was absolutely amazing. He drove me to the airport while showing me the places around and the cultures of Egypt. Not to mention all the other staff bringing food to me. They were all very friendly and smiled all the time. Finally, the boss Medo. I had a conversation with him and I could see his dedication to the hotel and to bringing happiness to the guests. He is very successful in making this hotel a great safe place for the guests among all the scams and chaos in Cairo. At first I just stayed 2 nights but after being scammed in other cities and having some bad experience, at the end of my trip I booked another 3 nights here as I completely trusted the hotel. And again I was right. They completely exceeded my expectations. So if you are considering where to book your hotel and you've read till this point, please do me a favour, book it!!!

After staying in two different hotels in the area and literally running away, we finally came across Sofia Pyramids hotel and it was amazing! The hotel is the only one we found who was really offering what they offer and how it looks in the pictures.

I stayed here for two weeks and had a very comfortable and pleasant time. The hotel is conveniently located near the station, with restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies all within walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back!
