This was a vert pleasant place in the country. When we arrived we got a pool all to ourselves. Afterwords we sat outside and ate in the beautiful surroundings. In the morning we were server a lovely breakfast out on the green. Very nice hosts! Can be strongly recommended.

Suzi and Jon (and Joop the dog!) are natural hosts and gave us a very warm welcome. We stayed in the 2-bedroom cottage, which was very spacious and well-equipped, making for a comfortable stay. The fire had been lit ahead of our arrival so we were cosy and warm. Suzi had offered us the option of dinner, which we had in the main house and saved us the bother of going out again after a long journey. It was a delicious homemade three course meal made with the freshest local ingredients (i.e. eggs from Suzi and Jon’s own chickens and venison from a neighbouring field) and was very welcome. We were travelling with our dog and Joop was a wonderful companion for him to run around the large, enclosed garden. There was also a lovely walk down to the river very close by. The arrangement of the property was perfect for our needs and Suzi and Jon made us feel genuinely welcome. We would definitely choose Les Granges de la Leigne again - we really enjoyed it.

This place is divine and Alexander is simply amazing. Such a beautiful place to stay at with the best of genuine hospitality. Breakfast with home grown berries was delicious, served peacefully in the beautiful garden, where all you can hear is different sounds of singing birds. We really look forward to stay again very soon.
