We usually give 5 stars for when the stay matches the description. Wish we could leave 6 for when they go above and beyond. The location is beautiful, the house is lovely and very nicely decorated, everything is clean and comfortable, room and bathroom sizes are just perfect. Breakfast is at another level. Everything is homemade, tastes delicious, and the quantities are more than generous. The hosts make you feel like you're staying with family, they helped with everything we needed, told us about the local traditions, gave us great hiking advice and even lent us hiking shoes. We also booked dinner with them, which had delicious 3 courses and felt like we were at a local restaurant. We can't wait to plan another visit to La Grande Ourse

Small chalet run by a lovely couple, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Excellent sized clean room with mountain views. Breakfast was all fresh, majority from the couples garden or locally sourced. They even went out of their way to prepare an evening meal on our second night.

Is a cozy house, the owners are very friendly and serve delicious food. The rooms are basic but more than enough. La Mongie is 10 minutes away. I will definitely repeat when I return through this area . I enjoyed my stay.

A really interesting old townhouse that has been brought back to life with care, style and a touch of quirkiness and humour. We were fortunate to be able to stay in a larger room than we had originally booked and it was really wonderful. Large comfortable bed and great pillows (including rectangular ones which we prefer to the large square French ones). Fantastic bathroom with large shower enclosure. All done with beautiful taste - even down to the reproduction light switches but also up to date with USB sockets in the same style. Lots of interesting spaces around the house and garden where you can sit quietly and read a book. Breakfast was fresh and generous and served on beautiful old crockery with proper napkins - nothing was too much trouble. Our hosts were both welcoming and helpful - and we enjoyed their two friendly Dachshunds too. Fantastic location for exploring the Pyrenees within easy reach of the high mountain passes (Tourmalet, Aubisque, Aspin) and also Lourdes or through the Bielsa tunnel to lovely Ainsa in Spain. The icing on the cake for us was the secure parking garage around the corner - which was the perfect town centre solution for our soft top Morgan.

Leslie and Neil are exceptional hosts, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home, we highly recommend staying with them in Soupiets. The meals were also excellent.

The room was perfect for my one night stopover in the Pyrénées, Sandra was the perfect hostess and made me very welcome, and provided secure off road parking for my motorbike. The location is in a great little town that has a fantastic bar and restaurant, who fed me even though yhey hsd stopped serving food ! All in all, a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
