Position is excellent, in upper part of city and an easy walk to centre and cathedral. Quiet street. On Saturdays in summer they close off a section of the old town for festivities till 1am. Maison Seraphine is just far enough away not to hear the noise. Pierre is an excellent host Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit and you could squeeze your own fresh orange juice; Pierre even produced scrambled egg. The house is old and quaint but our room was comfortable and spacious with a good walk in shower. There does not seem to be a problem with parking right outside. We came by train. Take a #4 bus from the station and get off at St Martin, only 1.20 euro. Laon is well worth the visit with relatively few tourists. The cathedral is magnificent, must be one of the finest in France. Some good restaurants and if you want a lighter meal, try a platter from the Fromagerie des Remparts.

Beautiful home. Host was friendly and amazing, interacted with 5 couples while serving them a 4 course meal like an absolute pro. Accommodation was everything we could hope for.

A lovely house full of character, with partial use of top floor. It is in the middle of the countryside yet only 10-15mins drive from Laon. The drive through the small towns was lovely, having the opportunity to see the quaint architecture. Hosts were warm and friendly. We just stayed the one night. The double bed was sooo comfortable. They were happy to give recommendations for local restaurants. The breakfast was divine and plentiful. This is a lovely place I would come back.

Coucy is a lovely French village with ruins of castle. Straight from a fairytale! Restaurants, groceries and bakery in town, still nice and quiet. The B&B is run by an amazing couple. We felt welcome as family! We had our own floor and enjoyed the private space upstairs. Good memories of the seventies there! And... our bikes were safe and dry in the locked garage for the night.
