Beautiful place to stay with the loveliest hosts, nothing was too much trouble especially when they opened the pool for our daughter to swim even though the weather wasn’t perfect. The rooms are so comfortable and the whole house is really nicely styled, breakfast was delicious and again nothing was too much trouble . We will definitely return and would stay for longer but in this occasion it was a stop over on our way to somewhere else. Amazing value for money and you won’t be disappointed if you go .

Everything was simply excellent. The hosts Isabelle and Antoine are fantastic. Warm welcome and may advices. The rooms are huge and the furniture and decorations are completely in style with the superbly renovated Chateau. Great touristic possibilities in the region. The breakfast is lavish and delicious.

Ben and Billie are wonderful hosts. The Chateau has been tastefully restored in keeping with the age of the property, but also including modern amenities. The breakfast was excellent with freshly baked croissants, baguettes and homemade preserves. The grounds of around 3 acres are a haven for wildlife, with a footpath to the river, where the more adventurous can go wild swimming. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and look forward to being able to return in the future.

My stay at The Gatekeepers Cottage was truly exceptional. The British owners, Jill and Adrian, go way above and beyond what I would expect from B&B accommodation. The Cottage is very comfortable and very well equipped. The breakfasts were absolutely superb, Adrian & Jill were all too happy to accommodate my needing to be out very early some mornings. They also provided a fantastic 'welcome pack' with milk, bottled water, fruit, bread, and other charcuteries. They also provided coffee, tea bags, and a jar of sweets and snacks. The Gatekeepers cottage is fantastic value for money, I thoroughly recommend it.

Marielle’s beautiful home is fully at the disposal of her guests. Marielle is the perfect host, very kind and generous, and her home is brilliantly situated for visiting the western end of the Loire Valley. We have no hesitation in recommending it and would love to revisit it ourselves one day.

A fantastic spot to stay! The owners are lovely people, the rooms are immaculate, superb area to exercise a dog after spending hours in a car and the breakfast is delicious. Superb! Merci!

Comfort, quiet, clean, lovely decoration and very nice staff (including a sweet dog). The amazing meal at the pizzeria was an added bonus. They even prepared a special pizza without gluten and lactose because one of our family members has food allergies. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
