Villa Daphne is a beautiful home. Our room was very comfortable and private with many thoughtful accoutrements from the local area. Our hosts made us feel most welcome, especially with our limited French. Breakfast each day was a feast for the eyes and the belly with a changing selection of local fare. The pool was the perfect place to cool off and relax after days exploring this beautiful part of France.

The property was had amazing views and Michael was a fantastic host. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing. We were offered drinks wine/coffee/juice on arrival and were helped with our luggage. After dinner in the town it was raining and we received a txt from our host offering us a lift back to the accommodation. The service was above and beyond. The hosts also had 3 lovely dogs. They were kept in a separate area so not intrusive in any way but we were happy to interact with the lovely furry people as well on our holiday. We couldn’t fault it.

I loved everything really. Starting from the smallest details in the room, It was spotless, smelled like heaven, and everything was so tidy and thoughtfully arranged. Claire and Ivan are truly some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. I went alone, hoping to relax, and they made me feel like I was with family, while still giving me the space I needed for myself. I came back home feeling recharged full of peace, happiness, and most of all, love. The house carries a beautiful calm energy; you can just feel it the moment you walk in. Whether you’re going alone or with someone, this is the place to be. They even suggested one of the most beautiful itineraries for me to explore, took time to explain every step, and showed so much patience and care in the tiniest details. Breakfast was made with so much love and you can truly taste and feel it. I could write pages about this stay. I’m genuinely so satisfied with everything. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this dreamy, unforgettable weekend.

    Once found this is a stunning location with an infinity pool overlooking the hills, lakes and in the distance the sea. Extremely quiet but only 2 miles from town where excellent evening meals were available. Valerie, the hostess, was very helpful and infomative, and arranged delivery to the house of Pizzas & chips on our first evening. Less than an hour from the coast and the Gorge du Verdun. An excellent place to stay for a relaxing break.

    It was the perfect place to relax in a very calm environment. Very clean, lot of space, and a delicious breakfast with a great view. At the same time there are plenty of options around like restaurants or supermarkets, just 5 min away driving. Last and most important, the hospitality of the hosts was unmatched. Rene and Philippe are great hosts and would do anything to make you feel welcome and at ease.
