Great location for exploring Loch Lomond national park or munro bagging. Lovely views from most rooms. Easy to find hotel (though parking took us a little bit to figure out...). Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and breakfast staff was generally friendly and nice to talk with. I really liked that we could choose our breakfast in advance and therefore could help limit wastage.

Kelly was an incredible hostess, going out of her way to make our stay incredible. The rooms are located on a farm, so you are surrounded by animals which you can learn all about when taking a farm tour. We pre-booked breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, you can choose among a variety of options and both breakfast and dinner were wonderful. The Garrisons are located very close to Loch Lomond, so you can easily walk along the lake on the Great Trossachs Path or take a boat at Inversnaid. The cottage is cute and fully updated (you'd never know it was once the police station!). Adam was very generous and allowed us to store our luggage in the garage while we hiked up Beinn Dubn.
