Mike the owner was so welcoming and couldn't help us enough and as we came in from a long cycle ride this was so appreciated! Bikes were made safe, lift to pub was no effort, breakfast was perfect...couldn't recommend enough, thank you 😁

The love and effort from Katie and her family is obvious and much appreciated. Very modern, comfortable and spacious. Even had a ninja in the kitchen. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch! Jacuzzi and shower was amazing! Katie also offers Many different types of health and beauty treatments in her studio at very reasonable prices! Despite being in a village (5mins from Avebury!), we were lucky to have a good pub opposite and a Very good italian restaurant just a few minutes walk away. Highly recommend. Enjoy x

A really unusual, quirky place to stay in Marlborough and we loved it! A great deal of thought has been put into every detail. After 4 days of hiking the Ridgeway traditional and traditional English breakfasts, it was actually very refreshing to have fresh fruit bowls and morning oats etc. All in all, an awesome place to spend a couple of nights in Marlborough.

Great location, lovely to have patio doors from our room to go outside into the garden. Food was excellent. Very warm welcome from the staff. Really enjoyed our stay, will recommend to friends and family.

Our time at The Rectory was fantastic from start to finish. We will undoubtedly return. Helen & Wyatt were extremely friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful property and one can tell just how much care, thought and skill has gone into making it what it is. The building and grounds are immaculate. Our room exceeded expectations in all respects, very comfortable, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, the breakfast was quality and beautifully presented. We would highly recommend The Rectory to anybody travelling these parts. Can't emphasize enough!
