Ticks every box! Kathleen, the owner, is so accommodating warm and welcoming! She has put so much care into making her guests stay the best possible experience :) The place is spotless, with comfortably spacious rooms, comfy beds, lots of elbow room in the bathroom including the shower, great location being both quiet and centraly situated, welcoming and great layout, free parking and tasty breakfast for everyone (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc.) We will definitely be back!

Great location. Fantastic old pub with the friendliest staff ever. Best pub food we’ve tasted in 50 years of travelling, better in fact than most restaurants we’ve eaten in. The pub welcomes dogs and even had a dog menu!

Amazing place , the staff were warm & friendly. they’ve recently taken over the running and have got it just right . the food was lovely, the rooms clean & tidy , bathroom well maintained. would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break .
