The hosts (Steve and Deborah) were very welcoming and moved their car so that we could park on site. The room was exactly as described by words and photos. Bed was very comfortable. In-room snacks/fruit/drinks were very welcome. Excellent continental breakfast served at the time of our choosing. My wife was taken ill and we had to arrange medical treatment and make very hasty rearrangements - cancellations, new bookings etc (were supposed to fly out of Heathrow at 10am). Steve and Deborah were very sympathetic, accommodating and gave advice. Their calm support was much appreciated at a very stressful time.

The hosts are extremely welcoming and very nice. Tha room was big with a comfortable bed and a great walk-in shower, which for me is essential. Breakfast was wonderful, with alot of choices. The location is very convenient whether for sightseeing or flying in or out of Heathrow airport.

We loved the location. The rooms were spacious, private, clean and cosy. The menu at the restaurant catered for all tastes and the food was absolutely delicious including the breakfast. We had a truly lovely stay at High Barn and will definitely be coming back. The place has such a welcoming atmosphere, feeling like home. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything is comfortable and that you have everything you need. On top of that, the views around the property are absolutely stunning, perfect for long walks in nature and a real chance to unwind. It’s rare to find such genuine care, and it really makes all the difference. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!
