We had a superb and very relaxing stay stay at this location. No negative points. Room was excellent with lots of nice touches. Opened up on to the lovely garden area and the views from there and the hot tub are outstanding. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and the breakfast was excellent - lots of choice, freshly prepared and high standard. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed stay in a high quality, peaceful environment.

Stable Cottage provided us with a truly delightful and relaxing stay. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the generous size of the cottage, offering ample space to unwind and feel at home. The interior decoration was a particular highlight, beautifully designed and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Comfort was clearly a priority, and we found the cottage to be exceptionally well-equipped and furnished. One of the standout features was the lovely garden, a true haven of tranquility. It proved to be an excellent addition, especially for those traveling with a dog, offering plenty of space to roam and enjoy the outdoors. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and informative, making us feel instantly at ease. Their helpfulness and attention to detail greatly enhanced our experience. Great location. Edinburgh / Leith is just stunning and has an aura about it. Here, you stay far enough away from the action to where it feels peaceful and authentic but you're so close, 45 minute walk or 7-10 minute trams right into the heart of Edinburgh. It is what it is. I respected the eco awareness signs and the "you are responsible for your own deliveries" signs. Hotel knows what it is, it's a room. It's not the shangri la, it is comparatively cheap and no frills accommodation and guests should mitigate their expectations accordingly. Having said that, the small room was cosy, warm and adequate. Would happily stay again.
