You can't help but have a "Wow!" moment when you drive up to Isla Bank House. It is a beautiful old mansion, being lovingly restored to its original splendour by Nick and Vena, our hosts. And I can't say enough wonderful things about them! Vena and NIck are welcoming, professional, and just lovely people. They strike the perfect balance of hospitality and privacy. My husband and I felt both very looked-after and also privacy-respected. We decided to dine both nights at the House, and our meals were homemade, of very high quality and delicious. Our breakfasts (included) were equally as good. Our room was spacious and elegant, with plenty of room to keep our things. The bed was very comfortable, and our ensuite bath spacious and luxurious. Keith is lovely and we spent a lot of time walking around. It is helpful to remember that this is a guest house in a village, not a city hotel, just to set expectations.

Kira is a super Host. The communication before, while and after our stay was very good. (Great recommendations for dinner and the following day’s sightseeing! 🤩) The house itself is very beautiful and tastefully renovated. Everything is more than you could ask for. And on top of that is Kira’s outstanding breakfast. All you can think of as a self-service buffet plus a wide selection of freshly cooked warm breakfast meals. If we are back in the area we would definitely stay only at Kira’s B&B.

Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Room small but cozy and comfortable. Could not get a better location, charming village, great restaurants, on the river spey, lovely walks.

Mike and Jackie are extremely good hosts and they can cook up a storm. We enjoyed a stunning dinner in their beautiful home. we had a little lost wallet drama and they did everything to assist us.
