This was my second time at the Windmill, and it was because I was very satisfied the first time. Beautiful old building, excellent service, lots of options for food and drink, what ells..?

Huge bed, luxury bathroom with designer faucet and sink. There was a real coffee machine and a good one. Not just a kettle and some powder bags, but actual proper coffee. I made good use of that. When you come downstairs in the bar/restaurant area, I was greeted friendly and it felt warm and cozy. If you don't come for the rooms, do come for the restaurant. The food is exeptional and there is a wide range of wines to choose from. I believe they are part of or own a winery and apple orchard and they offer their own local products aswell. I bought a few of them. I heared the owner has French roots and considering what they offer in the menu and the quality of the food, it is not that far fetched. 10/10 would book again

The room was great, clean and really well furnished. The tea and coffee tray was the best I have ever seen in a pub/hotel ! I love the fact that the owner left everything you need (water, and even wine!), and you can even order food from the pub in your room. I highly recommend it and will maybe stay again myself.

Great Location and huge and clean rooms. The atmosphere is very cosy and very private. We were the only guests and the owner took great care of us. The breakfast was outstanding and very tasty.

Such a lovely place. Easy parking, beautiful, quiet and comfortable room. Lovely hosts who let us check in really early. Super yummy breakfast. Would wholeheartedly recommend staying here. Just a 15 min walk into Rochester. Wish we’d had better weather and could’ve sat on their lovely terrace overlooking the river.
