The room was clean and bathroom was huge. Lovely touches of chocolate and ear plugs. Breakfast was more than enough with cereal croissants and choice of sandwich. For me having milk in the fridge is so much better than those horrible milk pots, and the bed and pillows were really comfy. No neck or back ache which i can usually find at a lot.of places.

The George Inn is a traditional English coaching inn set in 2 acres of beautiful grounds, on the banks of the River Wylye in Longbridge Deverill.

Charming property, close to Warminster which is what I wanted. Excellent parking with picturesque grounds. The room I had was huge with everything needed for a pleasant stay. I only used the restaurant once, the food was delicious.

Nice location. We could walk to Westbury, which had some nice restaurants. It was cosy and very comfortable.

The entire staff was sooo very warm and welcoming and the whole property had lovely decor and a beautiful garden with a play area for kids! They offered an upgrade for my daughter and I which was nice of them. Our room was very spacious and nice. We stayed only one night in order to make it easier to have a full day at the Longleat Safari park. They booked us a very friendly and fair taxi to Longleat and offered to store our luggage while we were at the park until we had to get the train back to London in the late afternoon. Will absolutely book again if we decide to go back to Longleat someday!

The Westwoods was one of the highlights of our trip. We came by train from Avoncliff station and walked up the hill (in retrospect, it would have been better to rent a car to come on up). Clive was so incredible and warm. He was a lovely, gracious host who made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped into the house. It felt like home. The room was very well kept, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. We found ourselves wishing we had booked a longer stay there. It was a lovely slice of country life, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We were somewhat stranded in the area (we hadn't rented a car and there was a storm hitting the UK at the time) and Clive was so kind to drive us down to Bath Spa. Thank you so much!

Fabulous restaurant. Room immaculate and very comfortable. Would have have preferred a larger bed. Next time will check bed size before booking. Very handy for Christmas lights at Stourhead.

We have stayed here a couple of times before. The location is ideal for visiting Bradford on Avon and the surrounding area. Dick and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Dreamy is the one word that comes to mind. The whole property is quaint and just beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak. From the rooms to the location. We loved everything. The breakfast was delicious and made with quality ingredients. The rooms were perfect for our needs. Clean and beautifully decorated. Coming from a different country we did have some trouble with internet service but I think It has to do with our roaming service. We can't wait to return.
