Very homely, the room had lots of extras like blanket and heater but also a ceiling fan. The double bed was cosy. I appreciated the kitchenette which had plenty of supplies, there was a range of drinks, even filter coffee & fresh milk in a little fridge, which I was also able to use for my own food. The bathroom was very clean and in fact everything was super clean and the bathroom had recently had a stand up shower fitted and various complimentary items. It was nice that I didn’t have to share the bathroom . I am definitely booking again for a longer trip.

Great price, good beer selection in the pub, room was excellent. Staff were great and very accommodating. Mini fridge in the room was very useful and stocked full of sparkling and still water which was great as we stayed during summer. Many high end hotels, like the one we stayed at after this stay, had none of the facilities of this hotel while being triple the price. Lots of parking and the car park is immediately outside of the complex, which made it easy to move our luggage into the room.

The Dovecote Inn is one of those places that i don't really want to tell anyone else just how nice it is just in case it gets far too popular & we don't get to stay again! The bedroom looks better than the website photo, which isn't usually the case! The idea of a breakfast tray in the room is perfect, especially with an early start like we had. We had a meal in the restaurant, delicious, all three courses! Hope we get to stay again.
