Everything! The staff was friendly, the room were spacious and just 10min walk to the harbour. Can only recommend!

John & Christos are fantastic people who happen to live in paradise. If you love nature, this is the place. Amazing landscapes, crystal clear water, secluded beaches, good food and an incredible garden. The house is brand new and originally decorated, and nothing beats the views from the room balcony. You will sleep perfectly. We wish we could come back every year.

The place is great if you want to relax. Peaceful hills around, black skies at night…. A car is a must. Is it far from the beach or Monemvasia? No, but it all depends on your demands – check on Google Maps – it gives you a realistic idea. Privacy is complete (there are some houses not too far behind, and people live there, but I only met somebody once). For us, it was ideal. But this depends on your needs. For instance, we never met the host in 8 days there. I liked this fact, but this also meant that we had to buy food for breakfast, because the promised breakfast was not included. There was food when we came, which lasted about 3 days, but after that, that was it; I wrote to the owner and the owner responded that he couldn’t bring more food, because he lived far. So when you compare prices, do not take ‘Breakfast Included’ into account, if you stay longer than 3 days or so. So what you get is an ideal place, a cosy suite, and a complete privacy for a reasonable price, but without any service, if that’s important for you. We spent some time in Monemvasia almost every day, and it became more interesting each time we got there, but I would not choose it for vacation rental. In Guesthouse Kamara, we were surrounded by greenery, olive groves, while in Monemvasia, there’s mostly stones, ruins, and tourists. It’s very interesting and beautiful in Monamvasia, but not really relaxing, I’d say. Also, I wanted to mention, we made many furry friends there. Nice little cats and kittens in need of food. They ate ANYTHING we gave them, including BREAD. I mean each and every one of them. They were nice and gentle, but appeared pretty hungry, and we couldn’t stop ourselves from buying sausages and cheap fish for them. And we had to give out sausages piece by piece to make sure everyone gets some. So yes, I do recommend this place for a complete relaxation… And don’t forget to treat the cats!

Loved our "peek a boo" view of the sea, and phenomenal sunrise colors in the sky. Appreciated the shared deck/terrace. Wonderful breakfast!

We were very happy with our apartment which is situated a few meters and a few stairs away from the Monemvasia main gate (please note that you have to carry your suitcases or backpacks because of the cobble stones). The apartment is nicely furnished, offers a great view on the ocean from the windows (+ from the bed :)) and also has amenities like a coffee machine & coffee tabs. The owners have a store downstairs where you can get the keys and buy their local products like olive oil, wine or skin care. We had some problems with noise from the opposite bar one night because they tend to play loud music on Saturdays and the hosts did all they can to make up for it, even though it was not their fault and we really appreciated it. In terms of hospitality, these were one of the nicest hosts we have met so far.

In one of the historical homes of Monemvasia, with all historical features still present and carefully restored. The room we had was essentially a suite - we had one area for the bed and a separate sitting area with armchairs and a TV (and a whole Christmas tree for ourselves!). We arrived during extremely unfavourable weather (torrential rain and wind) and were welcomed most warmly by the owners.

We booked 3 nights at Maniati, but we asked for 2 more, because we felt so good here. Kyria Alexandra is such a lovely person and a great host. Even if she had a shoulder surgery recently she was always there for us, offering breakfast, helping with everything we needed. The room was spacious, clean, with a very comfortable bed and pillows, the sea view is great from up the hill. It's also a very silent place during the day and the night, but so close to the village where you find all the tavernas, shops etc. Don't hesitate to choose Maniati Studios! A Perfect Island Escape We stayed for 2 nights and stay at Voula Resort was exceptional. The owner greeted us upon arrival with a warm welcome, offering plenty of helpful information about Elafonisos and the surrounding area. The resort is serene, clean, comfortable, and quiet—an ideal place to relax. The grounds are beautifully kept, full of flowers and friendly cats that add to the charm. The location is perfect for exploring the island, with easy access to the famous Simos Beach. The rooms are spacious enough and very well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. Voula Resort offers a peaceful retreat with top-notch hospitality, making it a perfect choice for a memorable stay on this nice island. We absolutely loved it and will definitely return! Highly recommended.
