Everything was wonderful! The hosts are very kind. The garden is beautiful. The pool and the pool area is very relaxing (you never have to worry about finding a free spot on a sun bed - in the sun or shade). The breakfast is plentiful, never repetative and delicious (including the yummiest freshly baked bread). The prices at the pool bar are very reasonable and a few nice taverns are in walking distance. The owners even helped us with a problem with our car battery and on top of everything offered to drive us to a car shop (luckily that was not necessary). We cannot emphasize more strongly how much we enjoyed our stay in this little paradise. Thank you so much for recharging our batteries (even literally)!

There was a huge range of food offered for breakfast. It was all delicious and much of it was homemade. It was particularly lovely to have breakfast on the upstairs balcony. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay in the area more than we had anticipated and we thought the Seralis was very good value for money.

We loved our stay here. Everyone was so incredibly kind and welcoming. The view and property is beautiful, everything is very clean. The breakfast is super delicious!!!! Xantha is great for two reasons: the stunning view of the Pagasetic Gulf, the mountains and Volos; and the really wonderful lady who is now running the place (and who also speaks very good English). One should take into account that the road up is steep, narrow and at some places winding, not an easy one, and it's best to have a good engine, but it's well worth it for the view from your little balcony and the friendliness and generosity of the hostess: who not only invited me to eat as many of the ripe figs from the trees as I possibly could, but even paid my bill with the dinner delivery man (you can order food up) since I was in the shower!... As well as your own balcony, there's also a verandah off the drawing room with its own view of the Gulf, and the outside patio sitting area is especially nice. There's an open bar in the main drawing room of the hotel where you can make yourself herb tea from a varied selection, or of course coffee. So unless you would find the drive up difficult, Xantha is very highly recommended!

What we liked: the helpful staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, the beautiful view from our room, great value for money and possibility to park car near hotel. Tips for other travelers: instead of the local Litochoro beach, we recommend Agii Saranda. Don’t go there by car—walk instead! It really takes just 15–20 minutes through the olive grove from the neighboring hotel. Ask the staff—they’ll gladly explain the way. Also, don’t look for places to eat in the nearby villages—Litochoro has enough options for every taste, and prices are reasonable.

    We had the garden room on the ground floor with a little balcony so we were cool, quiet and shady with a view over the garden. It was like staying in a family house but the family left you alone but were helpful when needed. We were given a jar of home made cherry jam when we left. The location was really good, just a couple of minutes to the bakers, beach, tavernas and supermarket. It was very clean.Many thanks to Vangelis and his mother.

    The location is just back from the sea in a quiet street with parking spaces. The owners were very welcoming. Our room was big with modern fittings and bathroom, and lots of thoughtful facilities - water in the fridge, crockery, cutlery, tea/coffee/kettle/briki and little food gifts (herbs and marmalade). They have really thought about the comfort of the guests. There was air conditioning, and a table/chairs and clothes drying rack on the balcony.
