I stayed in the room with views of both volcanoes, and it was absolutely breathtaking—I still can’t believe how stunning the scenery was! The space itself was incredible, with a luxurious, spacious bathroom. The family running it is so lovely and went above and beyond to make my stay special. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe. The pool overlooks the volcano, which was such a unique experience. There are a couple of restaurants right next door, making meals super easy since the village is a bit far to walk. If you’re arriving by scooter, the ride is great—just note the last stretch is a bit tricky at first but manageable. Many guests arrived by taxi and arranged transportation with the host to visit places like the hot springs, which I highly recommend after the volcano hike. They also organized my hike, and I can’t recommend the guide enough—it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Just a heads-up: flies can be intense this time of year, so bring bug spray, but that’s common in the area. Overall, an unforgettable stay!

The location was perfect because we went hi King in Mt. Batur and the starting point was 4 min walking away. The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean, large and bed comfortable. The host was friendly, helpful and kind. I recommend to those that are going to hike.

This was the most comfortable stay we had in Bali. A comfortable bed, a beautiful garden, kind people, an amazing hot spring pool. This place has a very good vibe. If you stay at this place for 1 night, I would recommend to come at the afternoon, so you have time to enjoy the garden and the pool. A supermarket and various places to eat are close to the villa. If you come to visit Mount Batur, I would definitely recommend this place.

    Peaceful place with beautiful view of the vulcano. Clean, quiet for the most part, all basics covered, hot water well running, natural spring water pool, owner is very sweet and would go out of her way to make you welcome and comfortable. It's family ran and it is really the only 3 rooms so it's quite private and wonderful for a group of friends or a family to have a couple days stay. We wanted to walk to the lake and the owner was so kind to come with us and show us the way. We had a lovely stay and experience the local hospitality.

    Great location for our climb of nearby Mt Batur. This was arranged for us by the owners and we had a good guide for our hike and a comfortable, quiet stay in the bamboo chalet. Owners and staff were very helpful and friendly and would have been nice to have stayed a second night after our walk, but no time unfortunately. Nice view of the lake and nearby mountains.

    Quaint little piece of Bali that we appreciate. Quiet and cozy corner with a much appreciated hot spring pool which saves us a trip to the Batur Hot Springs nearby with an added benefit of a almost private spot.

    It’s a great location. In a quiet place but near to everything. The room is well appointed as very clean with a tea/ coffee station and filtered water. The hosts are so friendly & helpful, they made us feel right at home. Also, they organised a boat trip across the lake to The Devi Danu temple & the cemetery, returning at sunset we had the most spectacular views.

    We had a really nice room, but it seems that we were lucky. We heard from other people that got a room on the other side of the street that was not so cheap. There is a warm pool for free :) The staff in the restaurant is very friendly and the food there is delicious. The owner also organized a Mount Batur tour for us which was very cheap and private for the 2 of us.
