We upgraded to a private cabin. We had our own little deck, a spacious, GORGEOUS room, plus, a private bath. This cabin should be considered as luxury hotel status- only we were in the middle of nowhere! Just beautiful!

It was self catering but we cooked a evening meal and then a cooked breakfast the next day. We lingered as long as we could - didnt want to leave. this is a property that deserves a 2 or 3 day stay to relax and go out hiking in the day time. We would go back again for longer if visiting iceland again.

We stayed in the family room and it was very. the common-shared kitchen had everything needed for cooking and tons of plates and bowls. Dishwasher was very nice to have. The breakfast is included and is self serve. Eggs, bread, yogurt, jams, peanut butter, granola, oatmeal, bananas and apples, cheese and meats. The hot tub was amazing - you have to fill it using the switch by the front door. We loved our stay. We went to go visit the stables right across the road to see the horses.

Very beautiful location as they all seem to be in Iceland with everything you would need. There is a kitchen with every tools you need to cook, living room where multiple people can eat and everything was very well designed and maintained. The rooms are at the first floor with 2 shared bathrooms but since it is a wooden house you might need to be careful not to disturb other travelers. We found only 1 room for 4 people but it was excellent and I had a very good sleep. Everything was clean and well maintained which I appreciated. The entire house was very quiet and we really enjoyed our stay at this amazing guesthouses which I definitely recommend.
