I liked everything, the room was good, and the bathrooms clean and new. The owners were a lovely couple that helpess us in all they can. The place is relaxing, you can go everywhere taking a bus but check on google the hours and know maybe they could be late like 5 a 20 minutes. I loved how they were with us, I feel so good !

This is the best hostel we’ve ever stayed at. The owner was amazing and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. She provided bread and eggs for breakfast which we didn’t expect, so it was so nice!

We had a great stay! The staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and had plenty towels and extra blankets. The communal areas were kept very well, plenty fridge space upstairs and down, well stocked kitchen. Shower and bathroom facilities were incredibly clean. Very quiet at night, even though they very kindly provided us with earplugs. The location is fabulous, only a few steps from the bus/train station, lawsons, 7/11. Very close to the lake which makes for a lovely walk. We would definitely stay here again, thank you!

I'm Thankful that I stood at Mr Taka property, I loved the atmosphere at Kakureyado Fujikawaguchiko and Mr Taka is such an welcoming host, thank you for having us! Mr Taka did everything as promised, and more. The property has an backyard with a beautiful garden, where we spent an amazing night with Mr Taka and other guests. The room was confortable, the bathroom was set with amenities, nothing to complain. The surroundings were superb, we rented bikes and had one real adventure, I'll never forget my stay in Fujikawaguchiko!!

    It felt like a home away from home, it’s very quaint with lovely views around. Mama and Papa always put the fire on to ensure it was warm. The futons were surprisingly very comfortable. Wonderful to have exceptional home cooked food made with love for breakfast, bonus points for catering to vegetarians. Onsen with insane mt fuji views 10 minute walk away (discount provided by hosts). Great conversations, such lovely people to be around!
