We we’re welcomed by the friendly owner and his beautiful cat. He provided lots of information on nearby restaurants, shops, and temples (just around the corner). Everything was impeccably clean. Lots of toiletries were provided, so you do not need to bring your own. It was the perfect peaceful stay halfway the Shimanami Kaido. Would love to return here some day.

Had an amazing experience! The guesthouse is located in a beautiful location at the foothills of some mountains on Yuge island. It's quiet but restaurants and convenience store are easily accessible by bike. Was truly a unique experience. Koji was also an excellent host. Would strongly recommend!

    Very helpful and friendly owner. Excellent shower facility with various cosmetics. Kitchen with microoven, toaster and ample supply of forks, knives, tea and coffee. Very quiet place. 10 minutes walk to Kosanji, 1 minute to Shotengai (main street with shopping and restaurants.). Just 2 minutes to obachan shop selling the best and the cheapest lemons and mikans (if you buy close to Kosanji you will pay 100%-200% more). Excellent price for value.

    My favorite place I've been staying at so far. Very charming and warm! Like the City of Onomichi itself. Tucked away in the seemingly endless Hondori Shopping Arcade but quiet nonetheless. I will be back.

    The place is quiet strange and very nice in the same time. The place is kind of block in the past, lot of Mangas in the room gave the place a atmosphere of an old child bedroom. The staff is very kind. The place in a narrow street is very charming. Onomichi is a charming city.
