There was a beautiful garden. The room was clean and big enough, with a TV, AC and a private bathroom. It smelled nice. The bathroom had everything you need. Breakfast was great.

We spent a couple nights to our full satisfaction and very much as expected. Gyeongju, we thought, calls for staying in a traditional place like this. The premises and building of Soseoljae Guest are very beautiful and serene. Like another era really. The rooms are spacious enough, the bathroom tiny, but functional. Personally I think sleeping on the floor like that is comfortable. The location is unbeatable for walking everywhere plus taxis are available just around the corner. To be honest, I was a bit worried about the breakfast, not for myself, but some of my pickier family members. They liked it. The owner is sweet. Don't hesitate to book.

Dongparang hanok stay is set in Gyeongju and features a pool with a view and garden views. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Super spacious, cosy, clean, cute, modern hanok-style accommodation. We loved absolutely everything about it! The kitchen appliances were amazing. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Central, convenient location with all the Gyeongju sights/cafes/shopping street in walking distance. Ella was so lovely and helpful as a host and helped us book taxi to station.

This I such a beautiful authentic hanok. The property is taken care of with great dedication and it shows. The location is also absolutely perfect - close to numerous historical sites and lots of restaurants and shops. However one of the best things about this place is its lovely innkeepers. They are truly such a gem - the kindest, most helpful and accommodating couple you will meet. They made sure that we were well taken care of from the moment we arrived and spoke perfect English. They also surprised us with some delicious tea and apple slices on two occasions without having asked - and the breakfast was absolutely delicious!! Thank you so much Mr and Mrs Kim for making our stay in Gyeongju so special!

the hanok is AMAZING, really cool experience to do in Gyeongju! the owner and his wife are extra caring, they explained to me all I could do/see in the city and gave me a map with all the details. they also arranged for me taxi and breakfast even though I was leaving early in the morning. the place is super clean and comfortable, I really really recommend this stay, I wish I stayed more! the location is also great, just a few steps away from some of the main attractions and city center.

It was an amazing stay, the place is very quiet and peaceful. Especially nice is chilling in the evening in the backyard ;) it's nicely decorated and super clean. The town is steeped in history, but you probably already know it if you decided to go to Gyeongju ;) The host has a friend Sumin, who can do a private whole day tour (a bit expensive, but very nice). The host is super welcome, all in all, after 3 days there we both feel like we visited grandma and grandpa ;)
