cosy but spacious ac’d rooms with a flower flanked balcony. very clean facility in general including a groomed garden entrance. the hosts greeted us very warmly with flower necklace and a coconut welcome drink. the breakfast was also great and actually way too much but a takeaway bag was already prepared. in general the atmosphere stayed as good, when we arrived and we’ve also been driven to and picked up from a nearby restaurant.

An ideal place to spend 3 nights. Very near the beach, multiple restaurants, local shops and snack bars. The property itself is extremely well kept by Jaya. I loved eating his freshly grown fruit for breakfast, and he's really interesting and helpful, particularly with local knowledge. You wont be getting ripped off when Jaya is helping you book activities (lovely mangrove tour and pit stop at ayurveda garden!). Very relaxing feel to the place too! The room was more than spacious. I had a wonderful stay at River Breeze Villa! The location is perfect if you're looking to escape the noise and crowds—tucked away from the busy town of Bentota, it offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by nature. The highlight of my stay was definitely the excellent breakfast served each morning. Fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, it was the perfect way to start the day. You can really taste the care that goes into the food. The villa itself is charming, clean, and well-maintained, with a lovely view of the river and a gentle breeze that lives up to the name. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with great food and warm hospitality, River Breeze Villa is the place to be. Highly recommended!

We loved Channa Villa and Bentota so much we booked an extra night, if we'd know we would have spent less time in Mirissa and more time here. The standard of accommodation was the best we had stayed in through out the whole of our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, with soft pillows and clean linin. We had a fridge in our room and the use of a shared kitchen which was spotless and we were able to make our own tea and even make our own toast for breakfast as we had bought bread from the local supermarket. Close to the railway line, but you could hardly hear the trains from our room, a short 5 minute walk to the beach, which was the best beach by far. Plus close to a few restaurants dotted along the railway track. And of course friendly staff

This was a really lovely Homestay. Very clean and comfortable and an excellent location so near to the train station. The family ( Mother and two sons) were so kind and helpful. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious. We were in Sri Lanka for nearly a month, and this was our favourite accomodation. If you are in Bentota, the Welcome Family Guesthouse is to be recommended.

This is an absolutely amazing place with a lovely story behind and super friendly staff. Spacious and clean room, comfy bed, AC & Fan. The best food we had in sri lanka during our 2 weeks trip. The pool is amazing w/clean water and big green garden carefully taken care of. The owner and each family member went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, provided all the information, explanation, helpful tips. Nothing could be better !!!
