A very friendly, but calm hostel. For me it was perfect to meet people but also to get a good night sleep. It was not high season and the hostel was not full, but the people I've met were really nice. Also the staff and volunteers are great, they helped with everything and had some nice chats in the evenings. The kitchen does close overnight, but they do tell you about it and I had no issues because of this. As my room was close to the kitchen, it probably also helped to have a calm night. I'd definitely stay here again.

Casa Kootenay is a wonderful spot to relax, discover La Paz and the area and enjoy life! Lili has a special gift to make you feel at home, you'll wake up to homebaked cookies every day and a delicias breakfast, get free bikes, kayaks and a lot more than you would have ever thought of to discover the beautiful bay and feel welcome all along. The house is beautiful, a stunning terrace with a view above the bay, nice little pool for a dir and a lot of common spaces to share. The rooms are cozy and comfy (highly recommend the upstairs rooms), there is a lot of extras like nice shampo etc, free drinking water and coffee as much as you want at anytime, and a lot of little things that you are really super welcome in this house. We had a great time and will be back!

Residence Las Flores is a wonderful place to stay if you find yourself in La Paz. Maria provided exceptional service upon check in and everyone at the hotel was terrific. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the tables had a beautiful view. We enjoyed the game room and the honor bar. You'll find more snacks, water, coffee and soft drinks in your room than you can consume, and it's a really nice touch.

Wonderful staff, great amenities. The pool was a real plus to relax at the end of the day after a nice time in La Paz. The woman taking care of the house/breakfast is very friendly and full of great attentions.

Lovely posada! My room was spacious, well-appointed, and I loved the Mexican vibe. I took advantage of the free breakfast which featured some mainstays everyday along with a special item that changed every day. The staff are wonderful. The posada is across the street from the malecon and a short walk to the Centro area. I would absolutely stay here again.
