The owner, Mrs Alblas showed very high hospitality and friendly reception - there was even cake and wine ready for us. The facilities are in a beautiful quiet environment at the edge of the forest. The room was clean, large and had a far view over the land to the horizon. Breakfast was diverse and very good. We would be happy to return.

This is a cozy place just outside Hoogeveen, surrounded by beautiful trees at a breathtaking street. Warm welcome and presentation of the house by Rolanda. Outdoor dining space was unexpectedly amazing. The pictures and descriptions provided by the owner are accurate. The steps to the bedroom are a little bit steep but not a problem for me at all. I enjoyed my time here by walking around and watching neighbors' cows, kangaroo, lama, and chicken 😊 Thank you, Rolanda and Bay, for hospitality🙏❤️

    Excellent location, quiet neighborhood, Host was very helpful he was kind enough to drive us to the train station when we left. He also loaned us bikes. Breakfast was good and they accommodated my need for gluten free food. We recommend Marcel and his home.

    Great location, close to the center, bus stations and the train station. Room contains a fridge, and kitchenware. Also, a compact heater which was very handy on my first, colder night. Very comfy bed! The room and toilet are super clean. Very friendly owner, too 😀

    Very nice room with plenty of space, located in a nice quiet residential area. Just 15' walk to the town centre where there are plenty of good places for dinner ( got recommendatoins from the host, and they were spot on). Safe parking. Good bed, beautiful bathroom, everything decorated with style. Drinks in the refrigerator, small snacks available. Everything is there. Highly recommended. My 2nd stay here, and I will be back whenever I am in the neighbourhood.
