Best experience ever!!! Amazing amazing amazing hosts!!! Paul and Liz are fantastic people and we had a memorable stay with them. They are genuinely nice and their home is so so lovely. We hope to be back one day. Really close to the lake and in a very quiet neighborhood.

Peter and Michelle welcomed us in their home so warmly, together with their beautiful Labs, Bear, Meg and Jessie - that we had a hard time leaving the estate on our last day! They are the perfect hosts, thoughtful and easy-going. The view over the rolling hills and lake Taupo is fantastic, especially at sunset, and we enjoyed spending the evenings on the outside bench, playing with the dogs and taking in the view. Breakfast was also amazing, prepared every morning by Michelle with fresh produce. We also had the chance to see the deer up close! We have great memories from our stay at Whakaipo Estate and would definitely go back if we are visiting the region again! Thank you again, Peter and Michelle, for your lovely welcome!

Very private room with your own guest lounge with amazing lake Taupo views and luxury wallace cotton linen to cocoon you in the extremely comfortable bed . Off street parking and easy Uber ride into town if needed. Home made treats and continental breakfast with yummy Bircher muesli was great to start our day.
