The owner is really friendly, he recomended us a small museum (omani traditions) in Al Hamra which was worth a visit. The food was amazing (no fast food). Free coffee, water and best fresh dates at the terrace with a great view. It is located in a small and quiet village. Expect a traditional omani accomodation.

Loved staying in this traditional house and the staff were lovely. The food was excellent and the bed was comfy, softer than most in Oman! Excellent location in the heart of the village. They were kind enough to offer to drive our car down into the village to drop our luggage off so we didn’t have to walk it down.

Very authentic, the oldest guesthouse in Misfah! Beautiful guesthouse with tasty authentic food and lovely staff. They also organised an excellent cultural tour around the village for us, which was one of my highlights from the trip

Very nice. Shaifa and Abdallah are giving their best to make it comfortable for the guests. Very polite and always there. The food is very good and really affordable and fair prices. I had the omani chicken with fried rice which was prepared so hood by Abdallah. I strongly recommend to go there. Thanks!

All you can want out of a stay in the old part of Al Hamra, a superb mix between traditional and a modern touch. I highly recommend Mountain View for staying a few days in the area, it’s totally worth it, from the look and feel of the place, to the big terrace and the extremely friendly staff!
