Sophie (owner of the lodge who also runs it) was very helpful and an amazing host, nothing was a hassle for her. She organised for us last minute an amazing tour, which everyone else seemed to say no to. It was the best tour we’ve been on in a long time! Dinner is on a long table which makes it a nice family style. There are bikes for guests to use and paddle/kayaks all complimentary which was very nice. The beach in front of the lodge is small and we had it all to ourselves (everyone was out on excursions) which made it feel like we were in our own private little area. Thank you for the experience you have created for us!

The location is at 30 min by boat from the port of rangiroa ( you get a pick up from the airport). We had a lake view bungalow ( was chosen on purpose by us) and the view was beautiful. We were welcomed and lead to our bungalow upon arrival . The bungalow is newly build and clean. Wifi worked very good inside and on the terrace. The location is silent, remote and perfect. They have a restaurant and you can serve dinner and breakfast there____. DELiCiOUS! !

A trip to French Polynesia, specifically to Rangiroa, was the trip of a lifetime for me. I had studied and researched it dozens of times before departure. I found this property on Google Maps, though information was scarce. I chose it primarily for its location - close to the ocean and not far from Tiputa Pass. I found paradise. And I wasn't expecting it. Paradise is, first and foremost, the family that hosted me: Christian and his wife. Two exceptional people - kind, welcoming, but never intrusive. They opened recently and are pouring all their energy and savings into growing this property. Currently 5 rooms right on the lagoon, with a private beach adjacent to the famous Kia Ora hotel. See my attached photos. Please note: the room is simple, Polynesian-style. If you want five-star luxury, this is NOT the place for you. But it has everything you need and more - air conditioning (extremely rare in lodges), microwave, fresh drinking water, refrigerator, etc. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom simple but functional with hot water available 24/7. With only 5 rooms, it's likely difficult to find availability. In my opinion, write directly to Christian - I think he'll help you book. On Sundays in Rangiroa, everything is closed - supermarkets, restaurants. I didn't know this. I asked the owners for advice. Shortly after, they appeared with a tray containing a wonderful two-course lunch. I had to insist on contributing to the cost. Rangiroa is wonderful. But it's thanks to Hinamoe Lodge that it became a dream.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at POE Guesthouse in Rangiroa! 🌴 Both Poe & Hinano were incredibly kind and welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience on the island. We even got to enjoy a beautiful Tahitian dance performance, which made our stay feel extra special and authentic. 🌺💃🏽 What impressed us most was the care and effort in helping us organize our trip — the host managed to get us on the Blue Lagoon tour at the very last moment, just the night before! This made our visit unforgettable, and we are so thankful for the support and warm hospitality. The atmosphere of the guesthouse is relaxed, friendly, and truly feels like home. We left not only happy but also full of great memories. 💙 Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rangiroa — POE Guesthouse is the perfect place to experience both comfort and the warm spirit of Polynesia! On the ocean side which brings ocean breeze! Relief from heat and mosquitoes! Beautiful view, relaxing. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped bungalows. Great coffee! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and takeaways. Bring a torch for walking back at night. 2 minutes walk to the lagoon. Bikes for hire close by but Pierre and Motire are happy to help out transport wise if you need a lift somewhere or want to go further afield. They were great hosts. Their place is close to the Tiputa diving pass, where you can also watch dolphins jumping. Sunrise on the ocean side and incredible sunsets on the lagoon side. And don’t forget to look up at the stars. Incredible. I can highly recommend this place.

The accommodation was perfect, very spacious, 2 bedrooms, an organised kitchen, living room, big terrace and the family who runs the place is great (especially Taia is always there for you with a smile when you need him). It's just 60-70 meters away from a small beach and the 3 wonderful dogs, especially Zenique.

The location is amazing with direct access to the lagoon. Felix is a fantastic host. My partner and I had a wonderful stay there. Felix has been very welcoming and showed us some Tahitian customs (such as making your own coconut milk and make a raw fish plate with it).

Vaimoe Lodge Tiputa features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Tiputa, 500 metres from Tiputa Pass. With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a balcony.

I had a wonderful week here at Vaimoe lodge! Ivan and Vaitia were always making sure that I had everything to enjoy my stay to the maximum. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacy and you have a constant refreshing breeze coming from the ocean. You even have a direct ocean view from some of the bungalows. The local food they prepare is awesome and this side of the Tiputa pass is very natural and more calm with more locals living here and less tourists. You don't get a better package for your money in Tiputa than at Vaimoe lodge :) It's also just a short 30 min walk away from Tiputa pass where you have a cheap taxi boat every 30 min to bring you to the other side and the locals will even often ask you if you want a ride for free… You can also book all your activities directly with them like dolphin tours or diving etc… Can only recommend this place, run by a wonderful family 🤙🏽
