We stayed in the Villa side there is 6 rooms in this part and it is old vintage style. It was absolutely gorgeous. For it to be the older side of the hotel it is immaculate and very well kept. They also have a very modern new part to the hotel and again exceptionally clean. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The pool area was always quiet so no trouble with getting beds. Nice like conservatory place to the side of the pool for sitting in. Fantastic shower facilities at the pool. The bar has a massive tv that will show all the sport you want if you’re into that. There is lots of board games in the bar also if you want them and a good amount of books if you want to read any. The location of the hotel is in a quiet area about 15/20 minute walk to a busier town. The beach is not even a 5 minute walk away.

It’s a perfect alternative to a hostel. Same price but with your private space and bathroom. My room was big and with all the essentials. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was working perfectly. When I arrived the room and the bathroom were clean as well as the towels and the bed sheets (there is no daily cleaning but for me is not a problem). Soap, shower gel and shampoo were also provided, that is a huge plus. The two windows gave on the main street and on one side it was possible to see the water from the Ribeirinha area in the morning. Perfectly central location and very friendly and kind staff. They are always there for whatever you need. The kitchen is very big and well furnished: 2 kitchen stoves, 2 sinks, 3 fridges, many tables to sit. I spent a week here and I could have stayed even longer.

Very cosy and comfortable! If you have a rental vehicle then this is a great place to be. It is close to Lagos and to Faro as well. The host was very hospitable and right at the start made a list of places that we should visit and a long list of restaurants in the region that we should dine at!
