We loved the beautiful colourful gardens and the accommodation was perfect for our family. Comfortable, clean and spacious. Best of all though we loved the hospitality from Yves and Daeng. Nothing was too much for them. We enjoyed all of the places Yves showed us including a tour of the local market on his motorbike and the amazing temples and caves in the jungle nearby. Thank you it was a wonderful experience.

I liked everything about my stay at this guesthouse. Accommodation was immaculately clean, the hosts were so friendly, approachable and committed to providing an amazing stay to their guests. The location was great, 5/10 minutes walk to Kanchanaburi train station and the Kanchanaburi night food market (which is perfect for food and just about anything else you need), I also felt incredibly safe walking back to the guesthouse from this market alone at nighttime. There is also a great restaurant just around the corner called Zab Zab and 7/11 just across the road. The walk to the bridge is a bit of a walk, very easy and flat but I rented a push bike from the accommodation for 50thb and it was perfect.

Canaan is a 3-minute walk from Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal. It offers clean and comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi. The property features a tour desk.

Joy and Fa are wonderful and hardworking people. They run a very clean and comfortable guesthouse. So close to the bus terminal and places to eat. Joy helped me with the paperwork for my visa extension at the Kanchanaburi immigration which is so so much easier to do here than in Bangkok. You can rent a bike and do your laundry here for great price. The river Kwai Bridge is close by and the Erawan National Park and waterfall is amazing. Thank you very much Canaan Guesthouse for everything. A wonderful time here.

The owner Nicky was extremely helpful and very patient with our two small children. It was close to everything but quiet at night, we could hear the music from local bars when we were outside playing games but once in the room, there was no noise at all

I can't recommend this place more. It's the perfect location in-between the Death Railway Museum and the Bridge over the River Kwai, as well as opposite 7-Eleven and near good food options. The room had everything we could want - fridge, fan and AC - and was very clean. The hosts were so kind - every time we got back from a long and hot day out they had cold water bottles ready for us.

Golden Sword with a Boat is as quirky and unique as its name is unusual. The spacious, spotless room was on the top floor of a large two-floor building in a nicely kept garden setting. In the same compound there is a temple-like structure and apparently the owner is a monk who practiced in Taiwan for a long time. The staff is welcoming and helpful. A unique perk is the charming floating tea room restaurant located down some steps and a path on the river, serving delicious teas and Taiwanese meals. The staff even let us have our breakfast there the next morning. My son and I liked the huge metal dragon sculpture at the front gate!
