I’ve chosen the Gasthof Arriach in the village of the same name to rest after long days riding around. I have visited already many places, but never before had I been welcomed in such a personalised way. The owners are so kind, the rooms are great and the quality of the bed amazing. After a good night, I’ve enjoyed delicious buffet breakfast with homemade food, mostly outside, benefiting from great view on the surrounding forests from the terrasse. At the of the day, same peaceful atmosphere to have a delicious diner with a glass of beer or wine. I definitely recommend this place for those who like to recover from the daily life or after visiting the area. I’ll be back for sure, with my walking shoes, hunting deers with my camera, or just for enjoying the sound of cows bells and rivers running water, songs of birds and viewing amazing landscapes. At Gasthof Arriach, you’ll feel like you are in a cocoon, isolated from the hustle and bustle of the everyday life, but still close to all the best sites to visit in the area.
