We arrived a little earlier than the check in time, and we were allowed into our room, which was very convenient. And we could also leave our luggage there after the checkout. Hallstatt is much more enjoyable if you stay for the night and it's definitely worth staying at Ida Mitt

We arrived before 10am as we were going to a family gathering and our room was ready for us. The room was pristine and the beds were clean, comfortable and very inviting!! There was a big variety of food for Breakfast and you could eat until your heart’s content; again the hostess was very attentive towards all the guests. We would come back to this hotel again.

Location is also lovely - just steps away from the lake and close proximity to other popular areas such as Hallstat but with a local and peaceful feel that felt like a home away from home.
