The property has an outdoor dining area. It was fully furnished in home like style. Very tastefully and interestingly decorated. The owner thought of every detail to make the guest feel at home during vacation from both the style and practicality. We loved that it had a coffee maker and milk in the fridge for our morning coffee. The 3-d map on the wall was a big hit for us! The chairs to watch TV were super comfortable as was the bed. There were blankets and pillows in the living room. Kitchen had everything needed and more like pot with boiled water. Great idea! They have very tasty tap water there. I would highly recommend The Sounds and hope to return myself. The view is spectacular!

The bed is so comfortable, the bathroom is amazing with views from the shower itself over the property. A comfortable lounge inside and an outside sitting space overlooking the olive trees. Sam the dog loves to come for a pat and even the friendly chickens love some attention! We absolutely loved our stay here over 5 nights it was the perfect place to centre our holiday to do some sightseeing around Hobart and the southern towns. All you need to bring is your clothes as pretty much everything else is provided. We will definitely be back as we’ve fallen in love with this beautiful little town and everything it has to offer, only 40min from the city of Hobart.
