Trudi's home was.charming, centrally located in the old town with easy access to all the main attractions. Comfy bed, nice decor, lots of history to the building and one of the best breakfasts we've had anywhere.. Trudi herself was unobtrusive yet knowledgeable and nice to chat to over breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This oasis in the middle of Winterthur was completely delightful, beatiful property with historical significance and within walking distance from train and buses. Close to the historic Old Town of Winterthur. Our hosts were wonderful, lots of knowledge of the area and very willing to share their knowldge if requested. Breakfast was great, all organic, and lots of room to dine. Added bonus; we stayed here at the end of our trip and it was just a short train ride from Zurich Airport for our return flight.

Freihof Embrach is set in Embrach, 16 km from Zürich. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The rooms have a TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. It’s a beautiful property close to the airport. The hosts were the best in our 2 weeks travel. Both of them took extra measure to make my baby’s stay comfortable. Would definitely book their stay the next time we visit Zurich

What a beautiful stay it was. Unfortunately just for 1 night since it was a car road trip stop, but would love to come back one day! Very peaceful area, surrounded by nature and inside the house is just a package of warm and welcoming energy. The hosts were super nice! The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional with freshly baked bread, local selection of cheese, farmers eggs and home made marmalade. Also my dog was very friendly welcomed. Thank you very much for everything, I wish I could return tomorrow:)
