Hostal La Minga is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Chaitén, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. We stayed in a lovely brand new cabin close to the Ruta 7. We got a night ferry, so we only arrived at 2345, but we were warmly by Klaus. The cabana is very comfortable and warm and we had an excellent nights sleep. We had a super breakfast in the morning and were on our way down the Carretera Austral. A special place to stay

Warm, cozy, relaxed, great location, quiet, best breakfast in Patagonia, great shower, comfortable bed… really a great place to stay and hang out in Villa O’Higigns. Also, Carolina is a published author on the arts and crafts of the region and a very interesting person to talk to (even though we have minimal Spanish). Highly recommended!
