They were patient, sincere, and always willing to answer any questions I had. As locals with deep knowledge of the area, they offered professional and thoughtful suggestions, from sightseeing to local cuisine, which made my trip even more enjoyable and seamless. This was truly the most pleasant solo trip I've ever had. The hotel provides not only a comfortable place to stay but also a warm, home-like atmosphere that gives a strong sense of belonging. Excellent Location: The hotel is very close to the ancient town, within walking distance of many attractions, and the area is quiet and convenient. It's also very easy to get around with carhailing apps, making transportation a breeze—ideal for travelers who enjoy exploring freely. Well-Equipped and Cozy Amenities: The hotel has a wonderfully warm and modern decor that truly feels like home. The room is fully equipped with everything you might need, from comfortable bedding to a functional kitchen and spotless bathroom, making it a very convenient place to stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful little touches that make a solo traveler feel well taken care of.

It’s just a 15-minute walk from Tina’s Guesthouse (where the bus stop is), making it convenient yet tranquil. The guesthouse is run by the wonderful 小旅 (Xiao Li), who made our stay truly memorable. He not only managed the entire guesthouse but also picked us up from Tina’s, checked us in, handled the housekeeping, and even cooked for us yummy pancakes 🥞 ! He also kindly drove us to the trailhead for our hike down to the river the next day. Our room, which was in the corner of the building, offered a stunning 90-degree view of the mountain across the street—breathtaking! The place was quiet, clean, and affordable, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing stay. We highly recommend Zhuoma Inn for anyone visiting Tiger Leaping Gorge. Note: no lift. All walk ups

The boss was so enthusiastic that we went to the Tiger leaping Gorge and came back to stay again. The scenery of the ancient city is very good, eat more, Jiuge rice noodles and flower cakes are delicious.

This charming boutique inn was one of the most amazing hotel stays I've ever experienced in my life. For me, it hit all the right notes. It was comfortable, modern, invigorating, great location, the village was enchanting, the hosts were extremely kind, the food was exceptional, the setting is as good as it gets, the building and courtyard had character and history, there was fresh Yunnan tea in the rooms, the views were exceptional, it was quiet and calm, and on and on... Highly recommended, I think about this place every day since I left.

Nice and clean, very friendly landlady.

On top of that, the location was fantastic — just a short walk to plenty of food places, which made it super convenient for us to grab meals anytime. Overall, it was a wonderful experience — great service, great location, and a very comfortable stay. I would definitely love to stay here again!
