It was a privilege to enjoy the incredibly restored buildings and grounds and to learn of its fascinating history. Breakfast every morning was delicious and dinner on the terrace was a fabulous experience too. The wine list was so nice we set off specifically to visit those vineyards. There are so many lovely villages and place to explore within short drives every direction of le chateau and Fabienne and Frédéric were great with suggestions everyday. Our room was stunning and the pool was amazing. Our dog loved it all too. As a base for exploring Le Périgord it is perfect. 4 nights was not enough.

At the bed and breakfast, all units include bed linen and towels. We had a wonderful stay at Les Rocailles. Monique and William were exceptionally welcoming, even giving us a ride before our friends' wedding and suggesting some local activities. Breakfast in the garden, with fresh local products, was a real treat. Each room is uniquely decorated with thoughtful vintage touches to reflect the style of a famous French figure (we were lucky to get Brigitte Bardot's suite). It's clear how much care and passion they've put into renovating this beautiful old building. Les Rocailles has a charm all its own—highly recommended!
