Château Rouillon d'Allest is located in Chartrettes. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and on-site parking is provided. The host was super nice and welcoming, he talked in spanish with us. He told us the story about the chateau and the family since the time of the King Charles IV. The room was spacious and gorgeous with a big bathroom with a tub and beautiful views of the back garden. We had a very good night sleep. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with an omelette, breads, jams, coffee, hot chocolate and juice. The stay is 100% recommended near Fountainbleu.

This is an excellent property for an overnight stay in a small village fairly close to Fontainebleau (15 mins drive). The apartment is part of the owner’s residence, once you enter thru the front door of the residence, the apartment is a self contained suite off the foyer, it’s very private and quiet with the owners just a door knock away if needed. The suite has a king size bed, a sofa and dining table, and 3 large windows give pleasant views to the garden and street. The bathroom is well set up and has everything for an overnight stay. The suite has an immaculate presentation and it’s obvious the hosts know how to treat their guests. The included breakfast was quite terrific, croissants, baguettes, ham, cheese, jams, yogurt, fruit, tea & coffee. Nothing more was needed for us, all delivered at our preferred time on a mobile service to the suite. Despite other reviewers comments, there are in fact several very good quality restaurants within 5-10 mins walking. We dined at Sakura (Japanese) simply fantastic.

Veronique’s house is wonderful! She is an amazing, pleasant and attentive host, she offered us a great dinner and breakfast. Her house is so beautiful that you want to stay there longer! So recommended!!
