Very friendly host, shown us how to access the town, perfect spot to park in driveway, room was cosy and knew it would be a good sleep when we got back, nice little additions like shower gels and soaps. Can imagine the room is very nice with good weather, since there is a lovely outdoor area with a view over the sea.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. The location is out of the way, but it is worth the effort to get there. The main room and bathroom were recently renovated (quality work) with high-end materials. It is nicely appointed, has lots of great windows and a bed that was very comfortable. The pub which is across the parking lot from the rooms is quintessential English pub with friendly staff. We had the meat pie and fish and chips and both were outstanding. An ale recommended by our server (after asking) was perfect.

The guest house, set in a building dating from 17th century, is 7.6 km from Granville Theatre and 17 km from Sandwich Railway Station. Deal Castle is 26 km from the guest house and Sandown Castle is 27 km away. The place is great, calm and cozy, exactly what I wanted. Marcus is a great host, nice friendly and helpful.
