The true highlight? Gabby, the host. She’s absolutely exceptional — the kind of person who makes you feel instantly at home. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests go far beyond expectations. Gabby and her husband even woke up at 4 AM just to say goodbye to me. I mean, who does that? I wouldn’t have woken up myself if I didn’t have to — that’s how deeply they care. The breakfast is lovely too — simple and served with warmth. The whole place has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying with family rather than at a guesthouse.

At the bed and breakfast, each unit has bed linen and towels. Our stay (group of 4) at Tumbuh Oasis was amazing. The owners as well as all the staff were very kind and the service was always excellent. The food was also SO DELICIOUS!! The outdoor shower, huge beds, clean facilities, chats and laughs with Marlot and Raymond, beach on the doorstep, and endless coconuts were highlights (Also the cinnamon and ginger tea!). An example of the great service - We decided last minute to go to Kei Besar and they contacted Aunt Lucy who helped us to organise the trip at 8:00PM the night before. We would all recommend the accomodation to our friends and family and we hope to visit again.
