Everything about Killaran house was exceptional from beginning to end, from checking in to checking out. Breda the host was truly amazing. She was professional, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable when it came to seek on advice on places to eat. The location of the Killaran House was so central, within a few minutes of walking distance of central town and plenty of parking on the property. The family room was spacious, bright, airy and a pure delight, better than any hotel room. Tea and coffee making facilities available 24/7, as well as toiletries if you should forget anything. Definitely my family and I will be staying again with Breda on our next trip to Ireland. 7 stars 🌟 without hesitation. Excellent showers and comfortable beds.

Breakfast served daily with freshly brewed Arabica coffee, loose-leaf breakfast tea and a buffet table with homemade breads, yogurts, preserves, honey, cheese, cereals, fresh fruits and juice. A cooked to order breakfast is also available. Conor made me feel so welcome. I had very early starts on both mornings and Conor ensured I had breakfast before I hit out. Excellent service and quality home made foods. Highly recommended.

Killarney Lodge is just 3 km from Lough Leane and boasts several wonderful golf courses on its doorstep. The Lodge also offers an extensive breakfast menu. The location was amazing and perfect for exploring Killarney town. The breakfast was also way above expectations and with 6 of us it was hard to find places to stay that were reasonable and didn't require us to drive or take taxis etc. We loved our stay and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We will for sure be back. Can't recommend this hidden little gem more.

The location was great with a short walk into the village with plenty of places to eat and drink. Our hosts recommended Dooley's bar and restaurant which was good value with great food and service overlooking the bay.
